Hello Everyone,

I got tired and discouraged in serving patients and clients in the traditional ways of conventional nutrition. I didn't feel like this way was truly helping people get better.

This is why I dug deeper to obtain more specialized training in understanding what addressing the root causes of gut and hormone health entailed. From this point of view and philosophy, I have seen my clients improve in leaps and bounds.

However, I also believe that when we have hormonal issues, we shouldn't gravitate immediately to hormonal replacement therapy. Embracing lifestyle practices along with addressing the root cause of hormonal imbalances is the key to rebalancing our hormones. I also believe that optimizing our hormone health isn't just focusing on hormones.  Our gut health plays a huge role in how our hormones play out.

I also believe the opposite is true that when we have gastrointestinal concerns, addressing just the gut concerns as the only aspect to focus on is inadequate. Hormones play an imperative role in how our gut health plays out.

Therefore, I believe that when we work on harmonizing our hormone health with our gut health and vice versa, we receive optimal improvement to thrive!

Just like when beautiful musical notes are played in the appropriate intervals with each other, melodious and pleasing to-the-ears music is born. This is a priceless creation by God.  The same can happen when we acknowledge how fearfully and wonderfully God made us, we can have our gut and hormone health work harmoniously with one another.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and dietetics and a Master of Science degree in clinical nutrition from Loma Linda University and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science respectively.  From Northcentral University, I completed a PhD degree in education, specializing in online learning and online teaching. I was blessed with the privilege to work as a clinical dietitian at two medical centers.   While I am also a certified L.E.A.P. therapist helping individuals with food sensitivities, I am also an integrative and functional nutrition certified practitioner and a certified gastrointestinal nutritionist. I am also grateful to God to be an assistant professor at Loma Linda University for the department of nutrition and dietetics in the school of allied health professions.

God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve patients and clients for  30 years. I love helping my clients through my telehealth gut and hormone private practice.

Fun activities I love to do are sing, cook, cycle, play pickleball and work out. I believe this Bible verse with my whole heart--"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14. My favorite Bible verse is "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3: 5 & 6.

Thank you for visiting my page.  May God bless you. Cheers to living gut and hormone better!
